Journey in faith

September 6, 2012

the journey of faith

We are beginning at church a journey of 6 weeks using James A. Harnish’s A Disciple’s Path – deepening your relationship with Christ and the church. When you are traveling, you have a destination in mind. In the car you may have the GPS or map inside but you can only see part of the road ahead. The United Methodist Church is “making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world”. We are either moving forward, standing still or moving backward. Faith is about being transformed and changed. We have so many things bombarding us that often we don’t know which way to turn. We need to follow the GPS – God’s Positioning Spirit. Join me in a journey of transformation at church.
